Holy Balls.
So apparently, they've been developing technology that would f**k Bohemia Interactive Studio s**t ANYDAY. They've developed technology that seamlessly handles THOUSANDS of polygons, and I don't think you need some crazy steroid induced machine for it. I think the trailers speak for themselves.

Re: Holy Balls.
something to do with only rendering poly's that will be seen (only) from a view point, also working from RAM. not sure your comment about the engine being able to run on a 'cooking' comp is the point. we'll have to wait and see i suppose.
the fly around is good looking though.

Re: Holy Balls.
Only took a quick look at the first video but if this is anything like what I saw a year or 2 ago it does render near-infinite polygons but in such a way that it's near impossible to animate or practically work with.

Re: Holy Balls.
I've played Mount and Blade before Scotty and I liked it, Good fighting techniques and controlability involved for a fun game.
Had the original version of single player but I did get a bit bored eventually so gave up.
Few of my friends have Warband on steam and they go on it regularly for multiplayer so might be a good buy

Re: Holy Balls.
Awesome!
I was looking at the the video anf thought "I hope they put in some capital ships" and then BAM Rob posted a nice vid.
I just hope they are usable by players.

Re: Holy Balls.
yes, but there will be no walkability.
every planet will have a gravitational system and stuff, pretty gewd.

Re: Holy Balls.
On a graphical aspect it is not all that amazing but needless to say the macroscopic level and the amount of rendering is very impressive indeed!
Have the game in Dx11 maybe?
