Ikariam

I think Ikariam would be a fun game to get into, it's a text based browser game set in Ancient Greece.
It features a 100x100 "map" with islands these islands have space for 16 normal slots +1 premium slot. And using the invite and friend system a group could get fast ahead on a new start working together as it offer friend bonusses. There are 5 resources 1 normal, wood and 4 special, crystal,sulphur,wine, and marble these got specific uses .

Daze came to me with a link to Ogame yesterday, but if you ask me i personally think Ikariam features more teamwork unless they did a TOTAL redo of Ogame in the past 6 months.
I found Ogame a very easy game to just turtle(just defence only) and then stay calm and "bored" in. Ikariam uses armies, fleets and walls instead of the attack fleets of Ogame which is highly underpowered compared to the defence. In Ikariam it then comes down to having an army to match with rounds of 15 minutes where in ogame a full scale battle could be done in 1sec. It is also easier to rebuild in Ikariam after getting beaten a bit down. You can not lose your towns only your armies and resources.
I think it might be fun to get a bunch of people.

I am willing to give this a go for a little while see how it goes
