Error 0xc000014c

Hi there,

My PC was switched off before powering down and since then my vista partition won't reboot, just keep gertting the same errror message. I've followed the prompts that are given, but when I have booted from the disc all I got was the aero background without the options to choose language and so on. If I make a recovery disc, would it be possible to reboot my vista without screwing up my XP partition? I don't want to do a complete re-install of vista. The upside, I can still game on the XP side, so I'm in no panic.

i just searched your error message on google and came across a tutorial on how to repair vista.. seems like a common problem
