Your Coms (keys) layout
So mumble is getting used more and more frequently by ppl. Still a lot of players say it's to hard to use and install ect.
I've heard two new excuse the last couple of days.
1: I just use the key closest (i.e TS or Voip)
2: Too many keys.
So, what's your key layout for coms? (and other things)
Heres mine.
Mumble: SPACE BAR!
Mumble sql: Mouse 3
Bf2voip: v
TS: B
I don't have 9342million mouse key thingys to use and my keyboard isn't "'ÜBER MEGA GAMER" cool
On a related side note, I jump with the F key.

B sq voip

for some reason i couldn't get mumble to recognise any mouse buttons, something i've heard from others whilst yet others have no trouble, perhaps its something to do with razor software, who knows....
when ever i change a button assignment i put a sticker on it until its second nature, low tech but it works

You have an AZERTY keyboard???? ::
I have
Local mumble - side mouse 1 (thumb)
SL mumble - side mouse 2 (thumb)
BF squad voip - press in the mousewheel
bf commander voip - default coz it never gets used.
TS - F
This way i have all my comms on my mouse, so i can still talk and aim and move. Never have to move my hands off.

Re: Your Coms (keys) layout
Wow you ppl have weird coms setups (except for some mouse buttons).
If I had it like that, I wouldn't be arsed to talk.
Since my thumb always rests on the space bar, mumble talking just coms naturally.

Re: Your Coms (keys) layout
normal Bf2 comms
TS is on F then cycle weapons is on Z.
Mumble Local is on keypad enter so I just strech my thumb to it.
Mumble is on keypad .
Ts mute is on numberpad 6
TS mute mic on number pad 9
mumble mute is on keypad 5
mumble mute mice on keypad 8
Then for clan matches when I need to talk to snipper/ bang/Vandal/ is on number pad 7,4,1 in order. and then number pad 2 to talk to all 3 at the same time.
I then have G9 mouse that has on thumb 1 main weapon, thumb 2 nades, for vBF2 left click mouse wheel is medpaks, right click mouse wheel shock paddles.

TS transmit is Caps lock
TS mute is numpad 5
Mumble mute toggle is numpad 8
Mumble mic toggle is numpad 9
Ts move rooms is numpads 7 & 9

With the F key. I talk more than I jump. Not that I go around chatting everyone up, but ya know.

Re: Your Coms (keys) layout
BF2 voip = b
Commader = v
mumble push-to-talk (PTT) = \
mumble mic = numpad 4
mumble 'phones = numpad 5
mumble all talk = numpad 6
TS mic = numpad 1
TS 'phones = numpad 2
TS PTT = numpad 3
TS PTT mode = numpad minus
TS voice activated mode = numpad plus
I like being able switch between TS PTT and voice modes depending on whether it's for between round chat or in game clan comms. Mumble's important so I have the button for that right under my pinkie.
