2b VG trip to Iceland

2b is the grade and class
VG is short for the high school Virum Gymnasium

As none of you knew I spend the past 7 days in Iceland with the rest of my class.
All 2. graders travel to a foreign country at this time, and our teachers choose Iceland...
Most students travel to Rome, so Iceland was quite a different choice and most weren't too happy about it.
Weather:
Snowstorm every morning to about 11 AM
Clear sky from about 5 PM
-5 degrees Celsius


We lived at the "old" American base at Keflavik, cool, but the Americans took their TVs with them...
We visited all the things you hear about: Blue Lagoon, Geysers, dead volcanoes, infinite energy powerplants (literally ) etc.
Better than infinite churches

Just one problem apart from weather...
it's standard procedure to get really on these trips, but in Iceland there are certain rules:
You have to be 20 years or older to buy alcohol!
We range from 16 to 19 years.

Fortunately we met some native dudes at a school who where about 23 yo and some of us (girls ofc) drove to the city with them and bought for about 55.000 ISK alcohol.
Going from what we thought would be the most sober study trip to being the most was pretty awesome.
And one thing that brought a lot of LOL was when people discovered my camera placed in corner of the room.
At some point I had to cut it (tequila), but I ended up with a 2 hour video (28GB) which I now have to edit -.-


Anyways, I think that all of us were positively surprised by the awesomeness of the trip and I hope that I'll be able to create a complete video from the trip (not party video, not even sure it will reach public).
Probably most interesting for Danes (except the Bear Grylls stuff)

the furthest i went on a school trip was.....no where...... i was banned from going to devon with the rest of them for hitting paul edwards with a hockey stick, lol the day before he had kneed me in the balls, the next day they made us play hockey hahaha revenge is a dish best served to the face, oh happy days !!

We've had a lot of fun with it, and some even wanted me to make ringtone from it.

Actually we are traveling quite a lot, in 6 months we are going to Granada. Furthermore there is a ski trip every year.
