128 Player Test!

Password is not working

So I was just on this one. And jeez.... Half the players weren't on mumble, and if they were, they didn't use it.
Joined two different squads, both full. No one of them we're using mumble, just regular voip. When the admin, Wicca, warned them, they went like "okok, yeah yeah, Fin I'll do it". Might just been a bad time for me to join, I know not.

Why do ppl have such a hard time liking Mumble? I seriously don't get it.

well a few weeks ago I had a laptop that coult run pr barely and when I used mumble then I had like 15 fps. sometimes its the specs sometimes ppl dont know what mumble is or they are to lazy to start it up.

Yea, but you'd think with enough people talking about it/asking people to use it some might try. I think the PR guys should be doing more to get it out there.

Now I look back to PR before mumble and wonder how we ever lived without it. Having a 6 man APC squad with everyone on comms all the damn time was a nightmare.

What do you guys think about a mumble only weekend/day? Might be a bit of a pain in the arse to admin (maybe only give out the server password on mumble), but I reckon we'd get some good matches out of it?

will there be another test like that? i would admire to be a part of it...

I will continue to tell ppl to use mumble, and I will continue to make Mumble sqs.
Wasn't there a Mumble day on NWA? Altough not PW protected.

Dont want to bash the event,but considering the fact the password presented here on event's banner wasn't the right one I got kicked by wicca when i've asked for password on mumble, . Now, how smart is that? Using the kick hammer instead of helping. Server was like 76 out of 120, and I think it would be smarter if the admin stayed on mumble and give the password to new players who didn't know the passw. No everyone is a PR/NWA forum regular. To be honest Ive seen the server on server browser 'cause NwA was down ATM thats why ive tried to join. Whatever. Ill never participate on a event like that again, where guys like wicca are admining.

Not to be a d**k Zero but, that password was for the 15th. There has been two new pass words since, I think. There is a sticky 128 player thread in PR forum with all the info. Instead of you bothering 120+ players (or however many it is) instead of just looking in the forum, is what got you kicked for is my guess. With that many players, new comers trying to get around mumble, testing the player limit, hard admining, and so on, you'd probably wouldn't want a guy asking for pass word in mumble. He (wicca) also kicks players for idle chatting in all-chat.

All tough it would have been smart to posted a link to the 128 pr thread here.
But then again, this was an invite to the event on the 15th, when this pw was right, I believe.

my point was i was reading the thread on this forum.... and was joining when nwa server was down...
my mistake about the date and i was trying to say that not ever1 is pr forum regular, and is not such a big thing to tell someone a password and it doesnt had to be an admin....there are 100 players available,isnt it?...kick hammer is used too easy.
