LOL . Ye it came out in April 1 , so most of people still believe its a joke . And what they're doing right now is encouraging them

I can tell you it is not a joke, and now that R-Cons and R-Coms have access to the PR:V dev forum, things are starting to speed up.

I am quite looking forward to it beeing played on the public servers.

Thats exactly what we are gonna do when it first comes out speed, get all the boys loaded in the choppers, with a few M60s, get a dude playing some 60-70s music in mumble in each chopper, and have us some fun !

That huey model in that video is just looking so epic

especially the attack huey, it has 2x miniguns and 2x rocket pods, thats gona be AWESOME, however, i do struggle to see how it will be even, unless the VC get either really good camo or tunnels

yep thats new, there is a thread called 'hype died down' on PR:V general forums which is being used as a update channel by the devs, keep an eye on it for the latest (the video in your post above)

anyhow thx for posting, still cant wait.

other news is that they (the devs) want PR:V to be intergrated into normal Bf2:PR so if they can do this it'll be Al Basrha followed by some Napalm maddness.....

talking of which, napalm......"yeah napalm,,,,,,i'm dead dead fookin stuff" all i can think of is molly's with 20 times the power,,,,,who is going to want to be VC / NVA ???? they better get some real cool sheet and not just an old black bicycle to push around loool

I do hope they integrate it. If it was stand-alone i doubt i would bother with it, and it would end up splitting the player-base or failing hard. Would be a shame for all the work to go to waste

I know this is probably a bit early for this but what are we gona do server wise?? are we gona have 2 servers, or say have the one server rotating (2weeks PR, 2 weeks PR:V)??

PR:Vietnam will probably just extend the bf2 mod anyway, it will probably just be extra maps, with extra factions being the 1970s versions of them, it could easily be contained inside PR, allowing us to run the maps on our rotation if this is the case.

PR:V challenges;

jungle maps in PR are very very difficult on account that PR camo actually works, you can easily have a squad walk 5 metres away and you not see them nor they you.

anyone remember op ghost train ? personally disliked the map's geography by the jungle fighting was pretty amazing stuff.

the fight should be fairer as well, iron sights, no thermals, no guided munitions, just skill, whats not to like ?

PR for me is about the fight that is presented to you, its how you adapt and hopefully overcome whatever is put in front of you, PR Vietnam will be no different in that respect.

the Devs have said they are committed to integrating PR:V with PR:Bf2 so as to not split the player base.

Ghost train , oh god .. Used to be my favourite map , why did they remove it ? :'(

PR: Vietnam honestly sounds like theres gonna be some awesome skirmishes and ambushes. The whole concept of that game play in the forests with iron sights and basic m16's seems brilliant

It the quality of gameplay is the same then I see no reason not to have a few PR:V maps in the rotation.
