Disconnection.

Hey guys,

I get this problem sometimes where I disconnect from all mumble, teamspeak, and the nwa server on pr. URGH, so annoying, do you guys know anything that could be wrong?

When I alt-tab quickly, it says I'm still connected :/

Any suggestions/solutions to my problem?

You on a wireless or wired connection? I used to get a lot of mumble disconnects when I was on wireless.

Does wireless really effect your gameplay, does wire really make the difference?

Yea, I don't notice it though to badly. Only disconnection but I get a 40ping. Is this accraute?

Check your router the DHCP could be giving a short lease time. When the DHCP decides to check whos connected and reissue new IP`s to devices connected you could be getting drop outs. You could also try setting a staic IP for your PC. Google it.

I've had my ISP (PlusNet) prioritise my broadband connection for online gaming. Its worth raising a ticket with yours.
Does your router need a firmware update? That made a big difference to stability for me.
I got an N-wireless set-up, I've never had any connection issues with it (although I was suspicious about my old microwave oven causing interference....binned it!)

I have a Dlink router :/ ? And I have no clue how to install firmware lol, it's connected to the desktop downstairs. I'm guessing I should look there?

You should be able to access your router GUI by typing 192.168.2.1 into your browser search bar..
