No point sound cards are the biggest pice of BS since doedoe poo to clear spot. They cannot do any more than the bilt in sound of your mother board. Just download a free equalizer program.
If you use a USB headset for gaming your not even using your sound card as its built into the head set.
Save your money buy a surround sound system and use the optical or didgital out on the back of your mobo to a amp and speaker set up.

I got a z-5500 custom (mutilated) system, a true 5.1 headset the roccat kave's a dedicated sound card is a must, I got never go back to onboard, not for for love nor money
