Delta Needs a new Mouse
well as the title suggests my old mouse has run out of cheese and given up the ghost so im looking to get a new one. i dont really want to spend more than £50 and would ideally like to spend a fair bit less. I was looking at these on amazon last night:
Microsoft Sidewinder X8:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Microsoft-3HA-00003-Sidewinder-X8-Mouse/dp/B001DCELH2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1287787651&sr=8-2-catcorr
Logitech G9X
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-910-001153-G9x-Laser-Mouse/dp/B001RQAMIG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1287787651&sr=8-1-catcorr
Saitek Cyborg RAT5
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cyborg-R-A-T-5-Mouse-PC/dp/B003DKJ44C/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1287788428&sr=8-13
anyone got any other suggestions

logitech g500 used by Bang, Nayt and myself really happy with it, now theres the g700 too which is quite fancy but commands a larger price

Re: Delta Needs a new Mouse
This is the way to go. Does require cheese instead of power.
But on a more serious note. The cyborg looks a bit advanged and might be hard to use for the gaming part as there are quite a few buttons. i have not read the description and can therefor not tell much more about it. But it does look uncomfortable.
The Sidewinder looks good, but i don't know about it the middle keys looks uncomfortable to use as you have to change grip quite a lot when using it.
the G9 is the mouse i own myself. It is quite big at first, but you get used to it after some time. It can be annoying to change sensitivity ingame(sniper low, infantry mid, saw second highest, armour highest sensitivity). Changing freescroll can be annoying as the freescroll lock is located under the mouse.

Re: Delta Needs a new Mouse
*should have probably mentioned this first, i currently have the old cyborg mouse:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Saitek-PM42-Cyborg-Mouse/dp/B000VLMRVS/ref=sr_1_cc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1287796925&sr=1-1-catcorr
so i dont think the other cyborg should be too bad, the G500 looks pretty good atm - i like having a fair few buttons for my thumb - it means i can have TS, Mumble and Prone all finger free!!!

Re: Delta Needs a new Mouse
puff mice get a MX518 old school and still the best I had 2 only replaced the first one as i wore through the bottom of i after 3 years and I played alot of pc back then the second when I sold me pc to my brother-in-law and its still going. Now I use a G5 with weights for the right feel. Also another winner change dpi on the fly and has left right click on the wheel also 2 thumb buttons no gimmicks or flashy lights just a dam fine killing machine.
Cheeper than a bag of green. MX518

What he said
G500 allows you to alter mouse speed, by both DPI settings or by putting weights into it, which are customisable

The G9 is really good mate, so if your going for the G9x might aswell spend another £10 to get the G9.
