No SDK, well thats an extra week it will take the hack makers to find out what makes it tick.
Also no SDK means they will be selling map packs and its a console port AGAIN!! only PC users get to make maps with SDK so once again shafted in the ass for PC players.

they've said that PC is lead platform, so it will be better than BC2 imo. but of course no SDK = more $$$$$ for EA from map packs, it's all about the profits after all.

gone are the BF2 (and before) days for PC where people could gain extra enjoyment from a game for free. paying for DLC is fine if it is quality, but at least give the fans a chance to make their own content. Valve are the best PC dev by miles...

still excited though, loved the destruction in BC2

I actually saw the resemblance to modern warfare too. Or the hyping in the video anyway. I'm hoping it's only a video gimmick to get buyers, and that the actual game play is different

yea there is definately a resemblance in the trailer, but im not honestly that bothered about SP (altho i prefered bad company 2 to mw2).

battlefield is all about the multiplayer for me, and i have faith that dice will make something awesome. probably wont be a remake of bf2 like i would like, but it'll be good. bad company 2 was excellent in multiplayer (ban the recon class... )

the thing is though, BF2 maps are generally quite big maps which is why the multiplayer works semi-well, its much less of a frag fest than COD (maybe excluding warlord 24/7...) and I can just see this being a EA/Dice remake of COD:MW2 after EA's new Medal of Honor failed so badly...

You reckon? I dunno, they have confirmed 64 players, jets, and it no longer has Bad Company in the title. So we should definately have big maps, at least on PC. I think this will be more of a sequel to BF2 than another Bad Company/MW clone.

They are making a new MoH game already, so i doubt EA wants its own shooters to directly compete. I trust DICE, BC2 was the only modern warfare based shooter I've really enjoyed on console. It can only be better now that it's (mainly) being designed for PC. Hopefully they'll bring back some of the good BF2 stuff, at least on PC, don't care what consoles get.

Wishful thinking Brad, they'll give us tiny scraps of info most of the time no doubt.

In all honesty I couldn't care less about the single player, 1942 and 2 didn't need it, it's only included now since Bad Company was tailored to consoles. Understandable really, its a business after all and it'll make them the most money.
