NEED HELP !!!

i started my computer up and when it got to desktop nothing happend but my wallapaper was still up, that was it, there was no apps opening and no toolbar or rocketdock ect. i managed to open task man and i ran rocket dock through its location with task man so that is how im on here, but i still have no toolbar, this happnd out of the bblue and i dont have a clue, some help would be realy good

Restart computer ? sounds to me like some kind of memory issue,either speed/timings not correct or voltage is not correct,if not them,then could be memory dieing, do a ram test; http://hcidesign.com/memtest/ How many instances of MemTest: If you have a multi-core or multiprocessor machine you can make the memory test more effective by running multiple copies of MemTest at the same time. Start at least as many copies of MemTest as you have cores and then divide the amount of RAM to test between them equally.

that didnt realy help, i opend it ansd then everything crashed and i had to restart

Did you go into your bios,check the speed/timings/voltage of your ram,are all 3 on the correct settings ? could you post the details of the settings ? what is your ram & model ?

(I see on your xfire profile computer specs,you have overclocked the cpu,you running on same voltage on cpu ?don't go over max voltage for your cpu,have you overclocked the ram past its manufacturers recommended settings,if yes & your running on same voltage = thats the problem,i wouldn't overvolt past manufacturers recommended settings,either bring down clock speed of ram or loosen ram timings)

i have taken of the overclock on the cpu but i dunno what the right settings are for RAM

unless you have "UNLINKED" the cpu & ram,when you overclock the cpu FSB it will overclock the ram to

my mobo autochages the voltages when i change the multiplier and the frequencys i cant see any voltasges
