Win 7 64 Bit OS Empty Win 7 64 Bit OS

I take it that if my processor is an AMD Athlone 64X2 Dual Core, that it si the 64 Bit version of Win 7 I should put onto my PC?

dosent matter mate it will run both 32bit and 64bit. You may get some performance boost from 64bit and having a multicore CPU but unless the programs your are running are made for 64bit then your just pissin in the wind.

yeah its both 32 & 64 bit cpu. A 32 bit OS can only utilise a MAXimum of 4gb ram & thats including video ram,example; 4gb ram + 512mb video card ram = approx 4.5gb ram = will only display & utlise 3.5gb ram.
