I believe that you can buy the game for several people. I would suggest those who are interested to chip in money? If in doubt you can try the demo from their website.

Also the game supports mods. I have seen a very amazing BSG mod that involves jumping to other systems and launching fighters.
I have also seen references to Star Trek and Mass Effect mods but am unsure if they are available.

I love Artemis! It's a lot better if you're in the same place, but over the net is also good.

Don't worry Da-Fort, you only need one licence per crew, and I have a licence!

You need only need one licence per crew. I have a licence. I will arrange a game at some point, if you're willing to leave your prejudices by the door.
