that is bad but you are wrong about the state of education in the USA, what europeans dont get is that americans do not understand the welfare state, its a communist idea and it ain't welcome.

for every kid on a 4 day week there are plenty that are in the very best education the world has to offer, but its all about the money and if you dont get that i dont think your face will fit too well in the good ol' USofA.

in the mid west they are only missing out on fridays creationist lesson any way so no loss there

We have the best education system in the world by far -- IF you have the pockets to accommodate that of course. The public education system in my country is by far degenerating far beyond what anyone expected it to, you know why? Because we're bending over backwards to accommodate these illiterate, half-assed minorities. Yeah, that might sound extremely uncalled for, but it's the truth. These people go into school like it's some place away from home, abuse the teachers, get miserable, failing grades and the state, in order to stay funded must compromise with this, they either lower the standards or fail out the trouble students. But if your school has a high failure/drop out rate then you will also suffer a financial penalty. You want the best education? Then go to a cyber-charter school or pay for a private education. I grew up in the system and I watched as it slowly got worse and worse from Elementary, to Middle to High School. Now that I'm in college and I see the massive difference, I laugh at the system.

And the thing is, the minorities don't want to admit that they're the problem. They just keep blaming everyone else for their suffering and expect hardworking Americans to pay for their failing education and social programs. So instead of getting better, they keep trying to shift the blame onto someone else. And they wonder why they aren't taken seriously.

Appeasing didn't work with Hitler and it sure as hell won't work with trying to appease the half-assed minorities that don't want to work for anything. But let's be honest. This upcoming semester I have 4 days of schooling during the week. Sure, I picked that schedule and I actually like college, but none the less, 4 days a week won't be bad IF the material is worth learning.
