Sunday Project Normandy Event

We had some really good rounds there, i know some of our guys were recording, can any1 upload some pics/vids?

Was crazy at the beginning but once we settled down and got sorted we managed to do some fantastic sqd work.

Yea was a good game. Kind of rubbish that they wouldn't restart the first round, why organise an event to start at 6 and then start at 5.30?!

Our team were just pissing tickets on the attack, but our squad did well and maintained a decent KD

Also, the defense of control center before i left was epic. Great time, will we be doing this again next week? Would be good to get a full NwA squad and setup proper fireteams beforehand

Yeah annoying how they didn't restart, however it worked out well in the end I guess.

Only thing is, when we attacked as US, I swear their entire team was there set up and ready!

Easy company did well and towards the end of the US round we did a great attack on East point and then charlie to take both flags.

I do hope it is a weekly event although I think they are umming and arring over it on the prta forums.

If we could get a list of regular players it would make it sooo much easier to sort fire teams etc. I had 1:30 minutes to sort out fireteams, sort out kits, then try and get all support members in the 30 cals on the boats... might sound simple but confusion galore, especially as people were leaving and joining etc.

Was a great event, maybe put up a section in the forum for this.


Contrpl centre was crazy, Ive never had to fire my gun so many times, especially when you could barely see them! Also, never have my ears been abused that badly.

I think at one point there were 5 german AR's in those towers, the amount of fire power was insane!

I would definitely love a project Normandy section on the forums! It would allow me to organize a weekly sqd were we can post media etc without clogging up other areas!

Yup, we had 5x mg 34 (model is 42) in 1 tower + 2 guys doing ammo runs for them

Sorry I couldn't make it there.. Can we try a saturday game? I should be definitely on for that, No grandparents to see that day!

Doesn't matter if it's inconvenient for everyone else, It's one versus the lot of you after all!

We could certainly try a saturday game but I think where the prta event is set for sundays i'm no sure how many people will be around. In fact I think the server hosting the map only goes up on sunday.

hey guys sorry i've been engrosed in work. i do have a few pics. they're alright but it was a little too laggy to record a whole lot. OMG control centre was frikken insane!!! when i was like oh s**t whole sq NW and then all 50 people in the towers switched fire NW and as they were zigzagging and assaulting in fireteams from behind the hedge row we were all just mowing them down it was a damn massacre. so god damn awesome. constant firing of 50 soldiers for an hour sure does guzzle up ammo though as me and umm...thingy (sorry i've forgotten:() found out we did like 1000 runs. well im in for another one... stocky i think we should get some training in maybe on saturday? try another one this sunday..

Yeah I am well up for some training. Just hard trying to get 12 people to be completely committed, which is obviously not surprising as everyone has s**t to do and stuff comes up myself included.

I can make a post for sqd training on Saturday evening sure. Will post it up somewhere.
