ranks..

This may seem a stupid question, but someone tell me the difference between a master sergeant and a first sergeant???

I have all the requirements for first sergeant, but seem only to show as a master?? Is there a reason for this or am i just missing something and being a twat? :!:

Master Sergeant and First Sergeant are equivilant rank in BF2.

The difference being that to qualify for First Sergeant you must have the following badges.

Awards: Basic Knife Combat Badge, Basic Pistol Combat Badge, Basic Assault Combat Badge, Basic Anti-tank Combat Badge, Basic Sniper Combat Badge, Basic Spec Ops Combat Badge, Basic Support Combat Badge, Basic Engineer Combat Badge, Basic Medic Combat Badge

Requirements:
• Rank: Gunnery Sergeant
• Score: 20,000

Sergeant Major of the Corps
Requirements:
• Rank: Master Sergeant
• Notes: This rank is only awarded to one player at a time. It can not be earned in game via points/awards.

2nd Lieutenant
Requirements:
• Rank: Master Gunnery Sergeant
• Score: 60,000

thanks guys, but i have all the basic badges required to level up! still doesnt seem to work!

and yes i do need another 30,000 but thats for the level after!! maybe this time next year! :!:
