This is a quick and friendly notice about GameSpy 's future datacenter move. They're on track for a move date of Wednesday, August 25 starting at 10:00 p.m. (22:00) Pacific Daylight Time. This will affect BF2 and BF2142 and they will be offline for approximately 6 hours starting at that time.




This is not a patch for either Battlefield 2 or Battlefield 2142.

All played stats and accounts will remain unchanged during this transfer.

I believe this is thursday morning/early afternoon, knowing EA this will probabaly overrun into the evening. I am pretty sure this will be the account server and it will affect our warlord and PR server as I dont think anyone will be able to use them, I will be glad if I am wrong

Edit: After some further investigation it would be appear to start at 6am UK time (5am GMT, we are on BST (summer time) at present)). So if it goes to plan should finish at noon.

hit and miss, just had a game of bf2, but no unlocks, then no reading from main server.

there is a problem at the moment that when the server changes map or you press esc button you will be disconnected from your account
