Nippon is a point in judo.. You've got different points I believe, something like a nippon is a win. and another weird name is 1/3 a nippon I believe. So if you say... Hit someone its 1/3 nippon. And if you get him on his back that's 1 nippon. Something along those lines? Could be talking horsecrap ofcourse

Like some darts players. Always said its darts for toffs. Even though my dad used to be very good at it. Back in the day it was just a bow and arrow.

You're mistaking "Nippon", which is the formal word for "Japan" in japanese, for "Ippon", which is a single full point in judo.

just watched the very first womens boxing final in the history of the olympics, what a proud day for boxing, Nicola Adams GOLD what a match, aggressive and technical by the bucket full.....WOW !!! absolutely brilliant !!!!
