PR Map pack v0.97 won't install

Good day, I have a question that some of you might have heard about. Since I couldnt find anything myself on ze interwebs I decided to put my problem here.

As soon as I start installing the latest map pack for PR (containing Operation Marlin etc.) and try to select a directory and click next, it says "This setup requires Project Reality: BF2 v0.973 to be installed", which of course I have. I've also tried installing it in different folders but then it says I need to place it in the root directory for BF2, and if I place it there I get the aforementioned error. Help please?
