Random Firing while in-game.

Some of you might of noticed that while in-game, my gun would fire off shots, even though I won't be touching the mouse...

Sure it's not just a pulled mouse cable

Don't think its mouse issues as the people affected can't reload, as in, their client has fired any shots? Only people on the server hear it. (i think)

Yeah, people around you hear you shooting, see you shooting, but you're actually not shooting at all. You can't reload, still have all the bullets in your mag and what not.

Ever tested if the enemy can hear you?
If not, then it's not such a big issue anymore.

dobbeh, remember the round i was ya SL getting angry due to not knowing that?(was with speed, who told me then whats the matter)
your gun went of in on hostile ground and not single f**k was given... so i guess just ya team can hear it...?

Hm, sounds alot like me not pressing down the talk button while eating in TS. lol sure mate.

This happens all the time in vBF2 esp special forces. Given that in PR most have there rifles set to single shot you only get 1 shot. In vBF2 and full autoweapons its a right pain in the arse if the guy is doing it hasnt got voip so you cannot tell him to switch to a diffrent weapon slot then back again.



If you notice you only ever hear it from people in your squad other players on your team never do it just ya squad mates.



So no the enemy never hear it.

it must have been one of those DICE fixes then as it wasn't there in ver 1.00 Bf2, silly DICE.

the other problem with it is that his squad mates get 'supressed' by it, so the enemy might not be able to hear or see it but they can see the whole squad jump out of their skin and dive for cover......

I don't think I've ever noticed this. Weird.

Last time i noticed this was on Archer the other day when he nearly shot my toe off! i turned round and said WTF was tha?

Jut reinstall it all, it's fun and easy

1. I hardly ever snipe (to impatient). But no, I don't get it then (same with marksman)
2. It happens as well with the AR kit. But then I will suppress the entire team xD
3. I only play as rifleman 99.9% of the time.

I have tried to re-install, modify vBF2, used multiple types of PC mice and setup. Still happens.

Guess the game hates meh

Is the random smoke grenade thing related perhaps?
