troubles with dsl

I was siting in the backyard enjoying my drink and spliff and suddenly low flying cat hits me in the back of the head and flays away :/ ...for crying out loud...
and seriously what the hell is going on with my dsl line, anyone knows?
no phone is connected and filter is there is place never less I can't get the correct speed...
guy from bt was supposed to come yesterday and who am I to expect that he would actually turn on... a fool I guess...

maybe, just maybe.......
recently (about a month or so ago) my bandwidth took a huge knock, it turned out they were upgrading a local exchange and when it settled down again it was quite a bit better (DL went from 3 and a half ish to approx 5 mbps)
BT are i believe rolling out upgrades around the country.
like i say its a maybe......

I think you were right Speed, because my speed just came back after 10 days of constant problems.
Maybe, just maybe that's why no one came to fix the router but they could at least say something.
